Beckham speaks and the world listens: at least that is apparently what is happening with Beck’s new investment, MyEye. Much like Periscope and Meerkat, MyEye allows the user to broadcast live video from their phone. However, unlike those other two, MyEye has David Beckham as an investor and as soon as his name and face appeared on MyEye’s app it had over four million downloads in 48 hours. With MyEye a clip lives online for 72 hours then is disappears into the digital abyss. A big point of difference is that MyEye is actively targeting celebrity and athlete users to allow them a new way to connect with fans.
